Secure Storage Architecture
Business licensing requires uploading high-sensitivity personal identifiers and financial records. Ironclad secures this data at every step of its lifecycle. We never store files in unencrypted directories, nor do we permit shared cloud access.
All uploaded documents are written to an isolated storage bucket. Before writing to disk, the files are encrypted using AES-256 with rotating master keys.
PostgreSQL Tenant Isolation (RLS)
Our database enforces strict Row-Level Security (RLS) at the engine level. Every query executed by the client portal automatically appends tenant checks, preventing any possibility of cross-company data leakage. Partners can only query specific files that have been explicitly assigned to active application jobs.
DPDP Act 2023 Consent & Notice Compliance
In compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act of India:
- Local Data Residency: All primary databases and storage servers are located in AWS ap-south-1 (Mumbai), guaranteeing your business data never leaves Indian borders.
- Consent Revocation: Clients retain the absolute right to withdraw consent and delete their document archives. Upon request, files are securely purged within 14 business days, except where statutory tax audits dictate retention.
- Notice Architecture: Clear, plain-language notices accompany all document uploads, outlining exactly how files are processed and which CAs will access them.
